DON'T LET OUR COMPETITORS
LEAVE YOU IN THE DUST!

Protect your and your family from HVAC system cleaning companies that won't show you PROOF that the technician cleaning your home has the knowledge, certification, and skill to get your system truly clean.

Use this checklist as a screening too to help you determine whether the cleaning service you are considering will provide you with the level of service required to get your HVAC system CLEAN — or do they skip steps that will leave your system simply . . . LESS FILTHY!

1. NADCA Certified Technician

Showing proof of NADCA Certification demonstrates that the technician cleaning your HVAC system has the knowledge of what it takes to get it CLEAN without cross-contamination.

"Can the technician prove that he is NADCA Certified?"

NOTE: If the Tech has no proof — STOP! He can't prove he knows how to get your system clean without cross-contamination. more
info

2. EPA Certified Technician

Show proof of EPA Certification demonstrates that the technician cleaning your HVAC system is trained and licensed to handle and recover refrigerants from your AC system in case of a mishap. If not certified, it is technically illegal for someone to clean your coil.

"Can the technician prove that he is EPA certified? Can he perform a system "pump down" immediately in the event of a leak?

NOTE: If the Tech has no proof — STOP! . . . unless YOU want to assume this risk! more
info

3. Protections From Cross-Contamination

Protection from cross-contamination means that you and your family won't be subjected to someone else's dirt, mold, bacteria, animal hair, and animal dander. In other words, you and your family won't have to breathe someone else's FILTH!

Used sanitized brushes from a sealed bag opened in front of me?

Sanitized all tools and airlines in front of me?

Demonstrated the entire system is under sufficient negative pressure to prevent contamination from escaping to other parts of the system or the home?

NOTE: If you're not protected from cross-contamination, STOP! . . . unless you WANT to breathe someone else's FILTH! more info

4. Coil Cleaning Method

NADCA Standard 6.3 states "Coils with microbial contaminiation shall be wet process cleaned." Since it is almost impossible to tell if microbial contamination is present without growing a culture, the proper way to address coil clean is to assume that they contain microbial contamination and clean them using a pressurized wet cleaning process every time!

"Will you use a pressurized wet-process cleaning system on my AC evaporator coils and condensate drain pan?"

NOTE: If a wet process cleaning method is NOT used — STOP! . . . unless you WANT to risk breathing microbial contamination like fungus and mold! more
info

5. How Will You Clean My HVAC System?

Unless you are shown visual proof, you don't know and can't tell whether or not the cleaning company did what you paid them to do.

"Will you provide visual proof that my HVAC system is CLEAN and how will you clean my HVAC system?"

About 40,000 dust mites can "thrive"
in only one ounce of dust, imagine
how many are living in your ductworks.
